Dennis Rodano has spent his career developing, designing, reengineering and implementing processes that enable organizations to meet the needs of their customers with increased efficiencies and quality of service while reducing operating costs and time to delivery.
Dennis began his career with the Diocese as Director of Facilities DePaul Catholic High School where for 6 years where he managed $10 million in renovations and improvements to the facility; and he successfully reduced operating costs through strategic sourcing. In 2009 Dennis served the Diocese of Paterson as Project Manager and managed the construction and renovations at St Paul Inside the Walls, the Catholic Center for Evangelization at Bayley-Ellard. Dennis also served as Business Manager at St. Paul Inside the Walls when the Center began operations in 2010.
As Project Manager for the Diocese, Dennis is responsible for all energy related projects including Direct Install and third party procurement of energy throughout the Diocese. Dennis manages all vendor relationships and continues to look for ways in which the Diocese can reduce costs and improve processes. In addition Dennis is assisting the Diocesan Architect with the Cathedral Renovation project.
Prior to joining the Diocese, Dennis spent 7 years designing and implementing new technology in retail banking and 5 years as a strategic sourcing consultant focused on printed materials and building maintenance. In addition to his professional life, Dennis serves on the Executive Advisory Board of St. Paul Inside the Walls, the Financial Advisory Board of the Sisters of Christian Charity, the Graduate Advisory Board for the School of Education at Caldwell University, the Board of Trinity Academy in Caldwell, NJ and is the Treasurer of the Alumni Council for his alma mater Montclair Kimberley Academy.
Dennis earned a BA from Lafayette College in 1991 with a double major in Economics/Business and History and a Masters in Educational Administration from Caldwell College in 2010, where he graduated with honors as a member of Kappa Gamma Pi, the National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society.
